Incest Survivor's Roar YouTube Channel

Incest Survivor's Roar is a place I hope all survivors of incest abuse and those who would like to learn about it can come to feel more informed, less alone and more understood. I know how very hard life can be as a survivor myself and would love to share with the world the artistic and therapeutic strategies I've found that have both sustained me and helped me grow. I'd also like to work 1:1 as an all-round artist with survivors of incest to explore the self, society's attitudes towards this still worryingly taboo subject, and individual artistic expression.

Here’s the link. Please share it with anyone you think might benefit: Incest Survivor's Roar

My eBook, 'Diaries of a Multi-instrumentalist Volume One: Busking Acoustically on the London Underground'

My eBook published by Brandy Publications on May 13th 2020, ‘Diaries of a Multi-instrumentalist Volume One: Busking Acoustically on the London Underground’ is available at: www.amazon.com/author/gemmaboyd

Synopsis:

Gemma Boyd speaks with the unsweetened spirit of a warrior in 'Diaries of a Multi-instrumentalist: Busking Acoustically on the London Underground'. Her vibrant descriptions and her own poetry place you beside her as she shapes sound waves in tunnels to compete with screeching station announcements and encounters an unpredictable parade of characters you can almost smell.

Journey with her from pitch to pitch around pre-Brexit London's famous landmarks, Brighton and Hove and Montmartre, Paris, as she replays anecdotes of musical engagements and shares often amusing bordering on shocking observations of the types of reactions her Irish folk and jazz melodies have attracted.

This is a colloquial account where you will learn about the delicate physiology of an acoustic double bassist, violinist and piano accordionist who has battled injury and overcome tragedy to pursue both her deep love for music and a desire to bring out and reflect back to them people's humanity.

Review:

"I've just finished reading 'Diaries of a Multi-instrumentalist Volume One: Busking Acoustically on the London Underground' by Gemma Boyd on Kindle about busking in the Underground stations. A fascinating read, and I enjoyed every word of it. - GARRY WALKER, VERIFIED KINDLE EBOOK CUSTOMER
